This policy describes how Swiplete (“the App”) handles information in its current version. Swiplete is a photo-cleaning app for iPhone. It does not create user accounts and it does not run its own photo-storage cloud.
1. Photos stay on your device
With your permission, the App reads your Apple Photo Library so you can review photos, choose an album or all photos, swipe to keep or mark items, and confirm deletion. Photos, videos, Live Photos, GIFs, album names, and related metadata are processed on your device to show the deck and carry out deletes you confirm.
We do not upload your photos or albums to a Swiplete server. Granting Photos access does not transfer ownership of your library to us.
When you confirm deletion, the App asks Apple Photos to delete those items. They typically move to Recently Deleted for about 30 days, where you can recover them or permanently erase them in Apple’s Photos app. We do not control Apple’s retention period.
If you grant Limited Photos access, the App can only see the items you selected. Album lists may be incomplete until you allow Full Access in iOS Settings.
2. Preferences stored on this iPhone
The App stores on-device settings such as language, light/dark appearance, swipe direction, whether you finished the tutorial, how-to and limited-access choices, and the remaining foreground time until the next ad. This uses Apple’s UserDefaults on your device. Uninstalling the App removes it.
3. Advertising
After you finish the first-launch tutorial, the App may show full-screen interstitial ads from Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Ads are scheduled about every 150 seconds of time the App is in the foreground. The timer pauses while the App is in the background and starts again after you close an ad.
Google and participating buyers may collect or receive device and app information, IP address, coarse location derived from IP, ad performance and interaction data, and conversion signals through Apple’s SKAdNetwork. If Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission is granted, advertising identifiers may also be used. This version of Swiplete does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt; iOS may still limit identifiers.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may use Publisher first-party ID as described by Google.

4. What we do not do
We do not operate a Swiplete analytics or crash product of our own. We do not sell your photos. We do not use your Photo Library to build a marketing profile on a Swiplete account, because there is no Swiplete account.
5. Tracking declaration
The App’s privacy manifest marks tracking as false for Swiplete’s own code. Third-party ads may still use Apple-permitted measurement, including SKAdNetwork identifiers listed in the App’s Info.plist.
6. Children
Swiplete is not directed at children under 13, or under the digital-consent age where you live. Do not use the App if you are a child.
7. Your choices
Photos: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
Ads and tracking: iOS Settings for Tracking and Apple’s advertising settings.
Local Swiplete settings: delete the App.
If you live in the EEA, UK, or a similar jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Because photos and preferences stay on your device, the practical way to delete Swiplete’s local data is to uninstall the App. For advertising data held by Google, use Google’s tools and policies.
8. International processing
Ad requests may be processed by Google and partners outside your country, including the United States, under their safeguards.
9. Changes
If the App’s data practices change, we will update this policy in the App and on this page. The “Last updated” date will change.
