Terms of Use

The rules for using Swiplete, including photo deletion, ads and Swiplete Premium subscriptions.

Last updated: 30 October 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Levmer Studios (“we”, “us”, “our”) that governs your use of the Swiplete app for iPhone (“Swiplete” or “the App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The App

Swiplete helps you clean up your Apple Photos library. You review photos and videos one at a time, swipe to keep them or mark them for deletion, and confirm what to delete. You can go through all photos, a single album, screenshots, videos (largest files first), or Failed shots (photos the App flags on your device as blurry or accidental, such as black pocket shots or photos that came out white). It needs access to your Photo Library to work.

The App is free to download and is supported by ads. An optional paid subscription, Swiplete Premium, removes ads and lets you confirm Failed shots deletions without a Premium screen (Section 6). We may add, change or remove features over time.

2. Who can use the App

You must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement in your country, or use the App with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. The App is not directed at children under 13.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-commercial, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not:

4. Your photos and deletions

Your photos and videos remain yours. We do not claim any rights to them, and they never leave your device (see the Privacy Policy).

You alone decide what to keep and what to delete. Nothing is deleted until you confirm it; deletion is then carried out by Apple Photos, and iOS shows its own confirmation. Deleted items are moved to the Recently Deleted album in the Photos app, where they may remain recoverable for a limited period before being permanently deleted by Apple. If you use iCloud Photos, deletions apply to every device signed in to the same Apple Account.

Failed shots are found automatically on your device and may not always be accurate. Always review items before you confirm a deletion. We recommend keeping a backup of photos that matter to you.

We are not responsible for items you choose to delete, for items permanently removed from Recently Deleted, or for features that are limited because you denied or restricted Photos access.

5. Advertising

While you are not subscribed to Premium, the App shows ads provided by Google AdMob: a banner and a native ad on the home screen and in Settings, and a rewarded video when you confirm a deletion in Photos, Screenshots or Videos. You choose to watch that video. A finished view counts toward five rewarded ads per calendar day on your iPhone. If you leave an ad before it finishes, or if an ad does not load, it does not count. When none remain, you can still delete that day with Premium. Confirming a deletion in Failed shots opens the Premium screen instead of a rewarded ad. Ad content is supplied by Google and its advertising partners. We do not control or endorse individual ads, and any dealings you have with an advertiser are solely between you and that advertiser.

6. Swiplete Premium

Features. Swiplete Premium currently includes removal of all ads, including the rewarded ad shown when you confirm a deletion, and confirming Failed shots deletions without opening the Premium screen. Dark mode, GIF playback in the swipe deck, and choosing up-and-down or left-and-right swiping are available without Premium. The App may periodically show the Premium offer screen, which you can close at any time.

Plans and price. Premium is offered as a weekly or a yearly auto-renewable subscription. The price and billing period are shown in the App before you buy, in your local currency, as provided by the App Store.

Payment and renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. If a free trial is ever offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.

Managing and canceling. You can manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and Premium stays active until then. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.

Price changes. If the price of your subscription changes, Apple will notify you in advance and, where required, ask for your consent before renewing.

Refunds. All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies at reportaproblem.apple.com; we cannot issue refunds ourselves. Where you have a legal right of withdrawal (for example in the EU or UK), it is handled by Apple under Apple’s terms.

Restoring purchases. If you reinstall the App or use a new device with the same Apple Account, you can restore an active subscription with “Restore purchases” in the App.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its name, logo, design, text and code, belongs to Levmer Studios or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Apple, iPhone, iCloud and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Google and AdMob are trademarks of Google LLC.

8. Third-party services

The App relies on services provided by others, including Apple Photos, iCloud, the App Store and In-App Purchase (Apple), and Google AdMob (Google). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for their availability, outages or changes.

9. Availability and updates

We work to keep the App running well, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may release updates, and some updates may be required to keep using the App. We may stop offering the App at any time; if this happens, active subscriptions will be handled under Apple’s policies.

10. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. In particular, we do not guarantee that failed-shot detection will be accurate, that every photo or video format will display, that deletion will succeed in every case (for example with iCloud, shared albums or restricted items), or that ads will always load. Nothing in these Terms affects rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under the law of your country.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Levmer Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data (including photos or videos you choose to delete), profits or business arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for Swiplete Premium in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including consumer protection laws in the EEA, the UK and Türkiye.

12. Termination

You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it; an active subscription must be canceled separately through Apple (Section 6). Your license ends automatically if you breach these Terms.

13. Additional terms for the App Store

If you downloaded the App from Apple’s App Store, you and we acknowledge that:

Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the App.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of mandatory laws of the country where you live, or your right to bring proceedings in the courts there.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will publish the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If a change is significant, we may also let you know in the App or in the App Store release notes. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

16. General

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
